Getting started with Harness
Use this path to stand up Harness for production agents. Console click-paths and how-to videos will land here as product assets are published; until then, follow the conceptual flow below and the capability pages linked from each step.
Prefer code or terminal? See the Harness SDK and Harness CLI after you understand the control plane surfaces.
Path
Connect
Enable DevOps and cloud connectors (Git, CI/CD, cloud, Kubernetes, observability, security, ticketing) so Context Lake has a live map of your estate. See Context management and the integrations catalog .
Compose
Register versioned prompts and skills, seed memory with ownership and dependency facts, and attach out-of-box or custom agents that run on your framework of choice.
Govern
Route LLM and tool traffic through the Gateway. Apply guardrails (rate limits, circuit breakers, budgets, policy gates) so every agent call shares one identity and audit trail.
Operate
Run evals before promoting prompt or skill changes. Iterate on templates and skills without redeploying every agent. Pair IDE coding-agent controls with Relay when Cursor or Claude sessions need bash, path, MCP, and prompt policy.
