How To: Accept an Organization Invitation
When a user is invited to join an organization, they receive an email invitation.
Accepting the invitation grants access to the organization’s resources and collaboration tools.
This flow applies to all invited users.
Accept an invitation from email
After receiving an invitation email:
- Open the invitation email
- Click Accept invitation
- You will be redirected to the platform
- Confirm acceptance to join the organization
Once accepted, you will be added as an active member.
Invitations are time-bound and may expire if not accepted within the allowed duration.
What happens after acceptance
After clicking Accept invitation:
- Your account is linked to the organization
- Access permissions are assigned
- You appear in the Members list
- You can begin collaborating immediately
If the invitation expires, a new invitation must be sent.
Best practices
- Accept invitations promptly to avoid expiration
- Verify sender identity before clicking links
- Contact your administrator if the invitation expires
- Ensure your email matches the invited address
